Giant Waves - Solidarność (CD)

The first russian band on the Razgrom Music roster - sooner or later it had to happen! It is no secret that the guys from GIANT WAVES (ex-THE IMAGINARY STIGMA) are our longtime friends, and played at many Razgrom Music parties here in Volgograd, Russia together with plenty of amazing bands - from DIARY OF DREAMS to TORUL. However, Illya, Andrey & Michail continue to create music inspired by guitar post-punk, indie rock & new wave, and such bands as THE CURE, JOY DIVISION, CURRENT 93, and DEPECHE MODE, of course. The band set for itself very high standards of quality their debut full-length album and spent more than a year working on it. The result of this intensive work is the album «Solidarność». A Mature and conceptual work, carefully executed in the best traditions of classic post-punk and which shows a great sense of style & outstanding professionalism from the band members – not often heard from newcomers.

CD-version of «Solidarność» contains an impressive bonus section with songs from the first GIANT WAVES EP «Hope & Fight», previously released in 2013 only in digital formats.

Only 300 physical copies, each handnumbered.
