The German/British trio V2A was created in 2002 by 304 (Kevin Stewart) and 316 (Ines Lehmann), and joined in 2005 by live drummer 654SMO (Matt Hawkes), now an official member as well. V2A have been a high rated combatant of the international electronic scene for many years and have a large following all over the world. V2A got off to a rather rocky start, due to their affection for hard electro sounds, and the fact that this clashed somewhat with what the label industry wanted to sell. But they decided that following their own musical preference was more important to them, and their fans thanked them for it.
In 2002 their first album "EBM" was released worldwide on Trisol. Their supporters come from all areas: EBM, Cyber Goth, Gothic, Industrial or Synthpop. Their music is not for softies and lovers of quiet sounds. As a successor to "EBM", "Mechanized Infantry" shows no recession in the hardness of sound. V2A have proven that they will stick to their roots and will remain major role players in the future electronic music scene. V2A present pure EBM, brutal 4/4 beats, distorted vocals and massive melodies and arrangements, a stylistic combination of SUICIDE COMMANDO, SKINNY PUPPY and FRONT 242.
