Genre: Synth-Wave/Gothic. ‘The Moon is My Sun’ is an amazing ‘Retro-album’
for all synth-wave fans! Already known as chameleons of retro-music, (((S))) start out once more to open up new areas with their new album: Precisely said, the newest work is settled in the areas of minmal-synth-wave, that had its high
between 1978 and 1983 – until in 1984 the Lynn-drums were invented and “ruined everything” (at least for minimal synth-wave...).
Early Human League or Depeche Mode come to mind and sooner or later the name NEW ORDER will surface – a relation that actually applies very well to this album, as ‘The Moon is My Sun’ recallsa lot of the best moments of that kind of synth-wave! Still: this is not a mere copy of New Order’s sound, but a very original, retro-wave album that is highly recommended to those, still longing for the early 80ies sounds and melodies! 80ies Forever!
