Kid Moxie is the musical moniker of Greek born, LA-based Elena Charbila. Her music is a blend of pop sweetness and haunting melodies. Kid Moxie’s full length album, titled “1888,” includes collaborations with artists such as The Gaslamp Killer and Twin Peaks legendary composer Angelo Badalamenti. Songs and videos have premiered in Entertainment Weekly, Vogue, Stereogum, Self-Titled and more.. The album on Vinyl (UNDO 2014) was extremely well received by our customers, and the Videoclips for ‘Lacuna’ and ‘The Bailor’ were – and continue to be – major successes on YouTube.
A blend of noir pop melodies, haunting soundscapes and powerful beats defined the sound of “1888”. This double CD features a heavy 10-tracks remix package, including Maps (Mute Records), Greek pop sensations Tareq & Fotonovela (Undo Records) and Cooly G (Hyperdub records) versions, that secure the album’s reputation.
