The dark wave and gothic magazine “Crawling Tunes” and the German “Gothic Magazin” got together to im-plement this special project. This CD/DVD compilation is much different from others we know from the dark-wave/ gothic genre. On this compilation they try to show a wide range of classic dark wave music and also newer trends in the dark wave/ ambient and gothic music scene.

Apart from the more popular artists like Wayne Hussey, Star Industry or Specimen there are also some bands that are iconic like Derrier Le Mirroir, Funhouse and Golden Apes.You can also hear and see many of the scene’s newcomer bands, too. So you can find some classic gothic rock with lots of guitars, some softer and melancholic tunes, dark doom soundtracks and also some medieval and electronic tunes. The artists and tunes have been chosen very well and this is what makes “Gothic Visions” so special.

In addition to the CD the package also contains a DVD that has lots to offer: 180 minutes on the DVD are full of music clips and 190 minutes are packed with unreleased material, live performances as well as visual art and shorts from “J.A. Nossem Film” and “Schwerkraftfilm”, who both helped a lot with the implementation of this unique project.
