Review from the International Business Times (French Edition) :
"ONE OF THE ALBUMS OF THE YEAR !

"The first thing that will surprise you is the diversity of sounds used, mixing beautiful melodies, new wave electro rhythms, powerful bass and, from time to time, powerful guitar riffs.

The album opens with the single "Follow My Voice", with a hardcore beat supported by a new wave melody and spacey sounds that seems to invite you to a virtual journey through a musical landscape. A new wave sound with rock touches on the song "Pain", and more electronic accents on the melodic and pleasant song "Please". Then follows the audacious cover of Tears for Fears "Mad World", mixing dance rhythms to devastating synth sounds and powerful rock guitar riffs.

But Waiting for Words is far from copying their models and always brings their personal touch, their guts, like with the beautiful single "Miles Away", a duet with Soe_V a track mixing sentimentality and club beats without ever falling in silliness.
"Out of Control" is a kind of rock song (no guitar, paradoxically), with an electro bass and trip-hop rhythms and percussions.

Three tracks already released on the EP "The Curve" in 2009 are back: "For All My Sins" in a newly mixed version, "The Curve" in a more dancefloor version (with the collaboration of the musician and producer People Theatre ) without neglecting the melody and melancholy of the title, and finally "By Your Side", the uptempo new beat & bass with a chorus that will stay in the head. The lyrics of this song are notably dedicated to the singer's children.

As I talk about tunes that remain in the head, it is a general quality of the album. Choruses that will remain in the head without becoming silly, closer to the new wave in his best moments rather than stupid "summer hits". And it is a quality that tends to get lost today.

Let’s not forget the beautiful instrumental "New Town", which reminds me of Depeche Mode during their industrial times and the electro bomb "Messages", which, with its lyrics "wizz me, poke me ... ", gets away from the usual love songs "love me, hold me", speaking about the current internet generation and their "poke" or "add someone as a friend" mode.

The album closes with two curiosities: the calm "Mon Ami (My Friend)", a duet with Soe_V, in French, and finally the trip-hop song "Signs".

What can be learned from this album is the variety of styles present, combining past, present and future. It is rare to see New Wave, rock and electronic dance music mixed so well these days!
On top of that, the album as a very powerful and well worked sound, mixed by Steve Prestage (XTC, Peter Gabriel, Japan, De Palmas, ...)

Wherever you are more rock, or more electronic, this album can’t leaves you indifferent!
One of the albums of the year for sure. Because of its richness in sounds, melodies and choruses."
