“Flower for Ghosts” is the latest work by Christabel Dreams. After the pop expedient with a new wave matrix on their debut album (Wave Records 2021), Christabel chooses for this second chapter of their discography a path characterized by darker and more melancholic atmospheres.
They tell stories of distant, fleeting, or perhaps imaginary loves. The title can be explained as what we deposit somewhere, secretly, hoping that someone may receive it.
The sound is characterized by insistent rhythms, aided by the return to drums by Francesco Mignogna (Date at Midnight), and by synthwave-inspired keyboards. All enclosed in a mix seasoned with a clean, classic vocal timbre with a beautiful 80's flavor!
