Super Dragon Punch!! has cultivated its signature sound by creating electronic music that is influenced by 80s video game sounds, synthpop and industrial, as well as several other influences.

Mexican-Belgian artist Jérémie Venganza who used to be a video game store manager has been active as a live performer with various Futurepop/Industrial/EBM projects for over 15 years, before creating his solo project.

The band has performed with their illustrious highly energetic live shows at many events in Europe, Latin America, Japan and Russia, sharing stages with different kind of acts such as Suicide Commando, Frozen Plasma, Nachtmahr, Underviewer, Kanga, Parade Ground, Dive, Alien Vampires, State Of The Union, S Y Z Y G Y X, Elm, Torul, Reaper, Omodaka, Alphamay, Centhron, Surgyn, Ambassador21, Pro-Patria, Larva, Schwarzschild, Das Leiden, Nova-Spes, Alienare, . .

In 2016, SDP!! won the Dark Demons Night concert contest, scoring a gig at the famous belgian BIMfest festival and was selected to play a gig at the official after party of Tokyo Decadance 2017, in Japan. They were selected as opening act for the first ever Suicide Commando concert in Brussels, in 2019, alongside Ambassador21. In 2023 SDP!!, went on tour through Latin America with Frozen Plasma, State Of The Union & Reaper, playing several events like Synth Fest 5 and Synthember festival, and has also been invited to play Hellsinki Industrial Festival 2023.

Belgian industrial band, SUPER DRAGON PUNCH!! has announced the release of their new & highly-anticipated full-length album, Thorns.

This record features 10 new memorable powerful tracks that are a combination of faster club-oriented harsh Industrial and Futurepop, reminiscent of SDP!!’s intense punk energetic live shows, as well as haunting dark ballads.

Expect SDP!!’s unique mix of catchy melodies, pumping synths, stomping beats, glitchy effects, blended with retro gaming sounds.

The aggressive and melodic emotional vocals sing honest deep introspective lyrics about despair, hatred, and pain.

The songs are mainly about being lost in one's desperate tortured and destructive thoughts, about past and present demons, about being afraid of getting hurt by others or losing them or relationship difficulties and fights. It's called Thorns because there's some kind of pain associated to everything that is beautiful and nice in life.

Guest vocals on the hard and dismal ballad “Scar” are provided by talented Dutch vocalist Lis van den Akker.

It is released in a limited edition digipack, reinforced by remixes by ESA, Dulce Liquido, SITD, Soman and Modulate remixing “Split”, “Haste” and “Rise” in their own particular styles.

super dragon punch really has the potential of muscling its way to the top if ‘shatter’ is an indication of what jérémie is capable of. i think he has a handle on what needs to go into making compelling ebm, and if sdp can keep on cranking out great tracks like this, it will be unstoppable.

This EP reveals an interesting approach in electronic underground music. It’s the kind of sound that will not appeal for one specific audience and that might be the strength of Super Dragon Punch!!
— SIDE-LINE
Super Dragon Punch!!, then, is off to a great start in their career with “Feral”. Their crunchy industrial dance beats shine brightest when mixed with their 8bit influences. I would like to see a lot more of that combination; it’s what makes Super Dragon Punch!! Stand apart from other dark dance albums within the scene.

The band gave an excellent show. We didn’t know what exactly to expect from this fairly new band, but their performance was brilliant and the frontman really knew how to animate the crowd. This industrial-ebm-synth pop act certainly managed to catch our interest, so we will pay attention to them in future. They certainly gave us some positive energy.

They were more than ready to throw a party, and they did. The vibe between the three of them is awesome, it’s obvious they’re good friends and that also shows as they have a great interaction with each other on stage.
