The people behind The Volt are no less than Eddie Bengtsson (Page, Sista Mannen På Jorden and S.P.O.C.K) and Ulrika Mild (Compute, Liechtenstein and Amusik).
The Volt's first release is a 7" vinyl single with cover versions of two old sixties hits, which have been given a modern electronic facelift, very much in YAZOO style.
"Thirteen Men", which was originally recorded by the Swedish-American cult artist Ann-Margret and "Mushroom Cloud" which was originally recorded by rock and roll artist Sammy Salvo. The single is produced and mixed by Joakim Montelius from COVENANT.
