New Wave, French Pop. CD with 16 pages booklet.
It was in Nice in 2009 that Roxy, Christof and Greguy Leodocard decide to form CONTER JOUR. After giving up ‘Neptune’, their former band, they decided to start all over again with the firm intention to offer a ‘bigger’ sound, closer to their own personalities and their own tastes. In 2010 the 3 guys are joined by the lovely ‘Manu’, who completes the band in a prefect way. This their debut album offers an energetic and fresh sound between New Wave, alternative and Rock.
Influences are numerous but the sound is mainly focused on 80’s sonorities, calling in mind artists such as The Cure, Joy Division, Siouxsie and The Banshees or Depeche Mode. Another interesting discovery on the ‘80ies’ label Infrastition!
